FAQ
The 6000 Series is designed for higher performance environments where greater strength and stability are required.
- A 5-lug beam cleat with 50 mm pitch provides a stronger, more secure connection between beam and upright
- A deeper 91 mm upright profile increases load capacity and overall upright strength
- It comes with a seismic foot as standard, improving performance in earthquake-prone areas
- The overall system is better suited to high loads, demanding layouts, and higher seismic zones
The 6000 Series is built stronger at every key connection point, making it the better choice for heavy-duty applications and more demanding site conditions.
Yes, when you receive a PS1 it confirms that a qualified engineer has designed and signed off on the racking system. The design follows NZ Building Code rules for structural strength (Clause B1). It also checks against earthquake standards (NZS 1170.5). Industry guidance like BRANZ racking design guidelines has been used.
