FAQ

Yes, the 5000 Series is well-suited for medium-duty warehouse applications.

It is designed as a versatile and robust storage solution, capable of handling a wide range of palletised goods. With a high weight loading capacity it provides reliable performance for general warehousing, distribution, and back-of-house storage

Yes, when you receive a PS1 it confirms that a qualified engineer has designed and signed off on the racking system. The design follows NZ Building Code rules for structural strength (Clause B1). It also checks against earthquake standards (NZS 1170.5). Industry guidance like BRANZ racking design guidelines has been used.

The 5000 Series is used across a wide range of industries that require reliable pallet storage.

Common applications include:

Warehousing and logistics

Automotive parts and trade supply

Manufacturing and distribution

Yes, we can work with you to design, supply and install a pallet racking system that is tailored to meet your storage requirements.

The main differences relate to connection strength, upright design, and performance in higher-demand environments.

5000 Series

  • Uses a 3-lug beam cleat with a 76mm pitch
  • 67 mm deep upright profile
  • The standard racking system, suitable for most applications and general warehouse use

6000 Series

  • Uses a 5-lug beam cleat with a 50mm pitch, providing a stronger and more secure connection
  • 91 mm deep upright profile, delivering greater capacity and strength
  • Supplied with a seismic foot as standard, improving performance in high seismic zones
  • Better suited to higher seismic zones and more demanding environments

In simple terms

  • The 5000 Series is the standard, reliable option that suits the majority of applications
  • The 6000 Series is a heavier-duty system, offering increased strength and improved performance, particularly in seismic conditions

If needed, we can recommend the right system based on your load requirements, site conditions, and compliance needs.
